Target Group:
This course is aimed at students and those starting their career in the electronics industry. It is aimed at all who wish to improve their English language and communication skills, with a focus on job-specific vocabulary and usage.

B2-C1. Participants should have a reasonable command of general English at the minimum.

The course consists of language elements and tools required for a career in the electronics industry. Participants will get to know a range of English vocabulary and phrases covering electronics design, project management, coordination with colleagues, negotiation with partners, troubleshooting and presentation. The course is learner-centred, with an opportunity to discuss trends and opportunities in the industry described in texts and videos. At the end of the course, each participant will present a project they have worked on together with members of their group.

Method and Handouts:
This course needs active involvement, discussion and sharing of concepts from participants. Each week we will look at handouts of texts from current industry journals and web pages and analyse their language. You also receive a booklet of English phrases for discussion, negotiation and presentation, to help you get the most out of the course.


Materials will be custom-tailored to participants’ needs.
