My educational background: Licenciatura in German and Portuguese language and literature at the Universidade de Lisboa (2001); trainer training for Portuguese as a foreign language at the CIAL Institute Lisbon (2003); DaF teacher training at the Goethe Institute Lisbon (2005); Master in German as a foreign and second language at the University of Vienna (2012).
My professional background: German and Portuguese trainer at the Language Centre of the University of Vienna (since 2006); special courses for German learners (theatre, 2008-2009 & poetry slam since 2012) at the Language Centre of the University of Vienna; language projects (e.g. German at Five) in the libraries of Vienna (since 2008); Portuguese courses for various companies (Magna Steyr, Siemens Austria, Andritz Group) in Vienna.
My teaching motto: There are no real mistakes, only experiences from which we can learn.

Where I come from: From Portugal. I grew up in the Minho region and then in Porto.
My language skills: Português, German, Français, Español, Italiano, English.
My educational background: School until A-levels in Portugal; studied art history in Munich and Innsbruck; studied textile design and art in Rome. Training as a language trainer for Romance languages in Portugal, Germany and Austria.
My professional career: Working in the field of textile design and painting since 1991. Teaching at the FHG Gesundheitsberufe in Innsbruck in the field of art/textiles. Language trainer at adult education institutions and universities in Tyrol/Vienna. Interpreting and translation activities. 2018/19 Teaching position at the Faculty of Economics, University of Vienna. Since 2014 I have been teaching with great pleasure at the Language Centre of the University of Vienna.
