My educational background: 10 semesters of Albanian Language and Literature, Romance Studies (main focus on Romanian), General Linguistics and History of World Literature at the Faculty of History - Philology of the University of Tirana, major in Language - Literature; 5 semesters at the University of Vienna (scholarship from the Austrian BMWF; nostrification: 1995 (Mag. phil.)
PhD thesis: "The use of infinitive and subjunctive in Old Albanian (Buzuku, Budi, Bogdani) with a view to Romanian" (January 2008)
Doctorate: July 2008 ("passed with distinction")
My professional career:
1999 - 2014 Teacher of literary history at the Vienna International School, 1220 Vienna.
2003 - 2010 Lecturer for the Albanian language at the Institute of Linguistics of the University of Vienna
3.09.2012 until current Teacher for native language teaching in Albanian at the Directorate of Education for Vienna
October 2019 - July 2020 Teacher in the university course Interpreting for Courts and Authorities in the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna (on work contract basis).
