Important information for the registration with/without prior knowledge of German & placement tests
► New students with prior knowledge in German who have not taken a German course at the Language Center yet, need to take a placement test. Please register for a course with a placement test. You will receive an invitation for the placement test after your registration.
► New students who can produce an ÖSD or Goethe certificate issued within the last 12 months are not required to take the placement test. Please note that the certificate must show at least 80% of the points successfully completed in all four parts of the exam.
► Beginners and (former) participants of the Language Center's courses are free to register for a course with a specific level.

If you would like to have your course sponsored and need a cost estimate, please contact us before the start of the registration period. We will provide estimates by email or in person during office hours.

Trimester Courses for German

We offer two options:
- 9 weeks | twice per week | 6 units per week
- one course phase | 4 ECTS
- Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday | mornings or evenings (evenings also available online!)
- Course fees 2024-25: EUR 475
- 9 weeks | 5 times per week | 12 units per week
- two course phases | 8 ECTS
- Monday–Friday | mornings
- Course fees 2024-25: EUR 836

German Specialized Courses
Registration for our German special courses with different focuses such as grammar, speaking, writing etc will be available via our website from October 17, 2024.
6 or 12 weeks
Our German course participants can get a 25% discount on an additional foreign language course.
