In addition to its extensive range of courses, the Language Center of the University of Vienna also offers examinations. Here you will find an overview of our exams.

Language Competency Certificates

Our Language Competency Certificates are targeted at everyone who needs a language certificate for the Erasmus application or other reasons. We regularly offer these exams for English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Please contact us via email if you are interested in taking it in another language or booking an individual appointment.

Registration deadline: 1 week prior exam date

The certificates will be issued within 3 business days after the examination.

• ERASMUS Preparation Courses
• Other language courses (phase 3 of the desired level, e.g. B1/3 or B2/3)

Students who are nominated by the International Office for an Erasmus place can receive a refund.

Refund period in summer semester: 01.06. - 30.06.

Refund period in the winter semester: 01.12.- 10.12.
